Retired Firefighters of Palm Beach County - CHILI COOK-OFF
About the Event
The Retired Firefighters of Palm Beach County will be hosting their Firefighter Chili Cook Off on Saturday, February 3rd at the Abacoa Amphitheater. Decorated chili booths from local departments, restaurants, and organizations will all compete for prizes and bragging rights. It is the responsibility of the celebrity judges to finally determine the “best” chili and “theme” booths. This is the perfect secure venue to gather the family for cold drinks, hot chili, and live music to support all our community partners.
Chili tasting armbands can be purchased on Eventbrite (firefighter Chili Cook Off) or purchased the day of the event. Chili tasting armbands are $20 for adults and $10 for children over 12. A vendor onsite will sell adult beverages. This year the Firefighter Chili Cook Off event will benefit the Fallen Firefighter Memorial Project to:
- Commission a Fallen Firefighter Observance Statue to be located in Palm Beach County.
- Provide financial assistance for Fallen Firefighter’s families to attend national and state ceremonies honoring their hero.
